*IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ !* Please pack your printer
carefully. Place the printer in a plastic bag (I.E. sm. trash bag) and seal the end as to prevent packing material from getting into the printer. Make
sure ALL sides, corners and the bottom have packing ample (4 inches or
more ) material around them. Use styrofoam peanuts, crumbled up
newspaper,  or similar material for cushioning. You can also purchase
"bubble wrap" material from any shipping outlet, UPS drop-off counter
or your local post office. Crumbled up newspaper is not recomended for
heavier printers. During transit it tends to get packed down and the
printers shifts about.

If you are shipping an INKJET printer please do the following: For H.P.,
Lexmark and similar cartridge style printers, remove each ink cartridge,
place a piece of tape over the printhead and put them separately in a
"ziplock" sandwich baggie. Also, place a damp (not wet) paper towel in
with EACH cartridge. This procedure will prevent the ink cartridges from
leaking into your printer causing further damage. Putting the damp paper
towel in with the ink cartridge keeps the cartridge from drying out and
thus becoming unusable. For Epson & Canon printers, leave the ink
cartridges in place but make sure that the carriage is parked in it's home
position. Doing this will prevent the ink in the printhead from drying or
getting worse if this is the problem to begin with. Most Epson printheads
can be recovered from this problem if they are caught in their early stages.

If you are shipping a LASER printer, please take out the  toner / drum
cartridge and place it in a small plastic bag of it's own. This will prevent
any toner from dropping down and causing any excessive dirtiness due to
the delicate care that the shipping people of you choice will give to the
handling of your printer when it is shipped. Also please cap any toner
collection bottles if your printer possesses any.

Please make sure to include an explanation of the problem that you are
having with your printer along with your name and address, phone
number and E-mail address (if applicable). Below is a form that you can
print out and fill in with all the pertinent information to place with the
printer when you send it. We will contact you when your printer arrives
and give you an estimate of repairs if you need any parts. Our basic
charge is  $50.00 per hour.

* Most repairs can be resolved within an hours time. However, in the event
that your repair would take longer than an hour  and / or require parts,
you will be notified ahead of time for authorization of the repair.
